Sunday Inspiration: Effy Stonem on Skins Fire

I just watched Skins Fire episode last night. I missed watching my favorite character ever, Effy Stonem. I love Effy's new persona and styling in the new episode. For those who watched Skins from Season 1, you'll see Effy's transition in her outfits from neo- grunge to chic and sexy corporate style. She swapped her combat boots to heels and toned down her eye make up. Even though there's this change with Effy's wardrobe, her distinct style wasn't totally cut off. I love both her old and new style.

Seasons Changed

I wore this outfit to school the other day. I can still feel the heat despite the growing rainy season. 

And another thing, flip flops became my new bestfriend. I don't normally wear one to school before.

I am now back after my long hiatus. I just had the most awesome summer vacation in Romblon and Boracay. I was supposed to spend a week for each place but I extended my stay in Boracay for three more weeks. More than a month of vacation is definitely not enough. I needed to go back here in the city to finish my thesis. I wish I can turn back the time and stop it right there in Boracay which is now my second home.

Gear shift

These are some of  my insta photos taken during those past few weeks of being absent from blogging. It's been almost a month since the last time I blogged. Let's just say I had a temporary shut down from blogging because of my super busy schedule. I am so happy that it's over. I am having my time off from many things since a week ago. I spent most of my time sleeping and catching up with my favorite series. Now it's time for a gear shift and be productive again. :)

Unwanted tone

I visit the salon every two to three months either to have color retouch or to change the shade completely. The main problem when it comes to my hair color is its natural orange tones. My hair colorist' usual solution to this problem is applying ash color to kill the unwanted orange tones. This usually doesn't last for a long time due to hair color oxidation. Hair color oxidation can be caused by shampoos or sun exposure. In my case, it is the latter.
